I'm Don's daughter and I am so touched that dad is getting a mention in such a way. He would have been thrilled with all the fuss, believe me! He was a font of all knowledge and I will be at a loss for eternity. It was sad his mind was so active and alert at 94, but his body failed him miserably. I'm certainly not a major fan of this old age malarkey!! The cortege will leave his bungalow on Wednesday at 1.15 then take him on route past his beloved seat at the lighthouse before he is taken into St Hilda's.
